Welcome To My First Blog

My intention is to give you a general feel for my writing and interests. I am here to play and have fun while exploring a variety of topics that support a positive life. I look forward to seeing what captures your attention. It feels quite daunting, like I’m bearing my soul to you, however I really want to express myself more fully. I want to share in an authentic way about tips, tricks and insights that have helped me and may inspire you on your journey. I offer uplifting energy, share my photography, hope to make you smile or curious enough to think about something in a new way. I also want clarity for my own purpose, to see what comes forth and discover what is really alive for me to share and what is interesting for others.

The biggest impact I can have is to inspire change…to live on the daily, to adopt healthy habits to replace the ones that are not, and a roadmap for handling life’s challenges. One of my favorite ‘mantras’ or ‘affirmations’ is “Things work out better than I can imagine” This saying alone has shifted my perspective to understand there is more at work than what I can control and often when I let go and accept my situation, there are blessings I could not have planned.

I have a professional career, have raised two amazing daughters as a single parent and have a social life outside family and work. I admit my social life has dwindled due to the pandemic we are in, but I have personal projects and passions that I want to invest my time. You too can create the time for healthy habits, your passions and take charge of your life-style design to achieve your dreams or aspirations. I love sharing about how you CAN be healthy AND have a full life. I want to empower YOU to see that you can do it. We all understand the feeling of being ‘busy’. You can make healthy choices. You can create time for cooking, meditation, exercise, self-care, love…you get the idea. It’s a matter of priority really. What is really important to you?
